Attached is a photograph of Eastwood Junior School (1943-4) and of the boys standing on the back row, six of them were to move on to KBGS the following year.

They are as follows;- L to R, No 2,Peter Whiteley(was an opticiaan on Lord St), Terry McGee( 'Long Plunge' Specialist), John Dale(Solicitor), Sam Keighley(Stand-off for Keighlians in the 1950's and goal-kicker extraordinary), No.7 Arthur Seeley( My brother, Poet,Lecturer,and currently Chair of Governors at Parkwood School) and No 10 Trevor(T.W.V.)Smith, (Wing Forward for School and fearsome tackler-see School 1st XV-1948 -left/centre back row)
